Description
2.1 To synthesize mesocellular silica supports with different pore sizes and pore structures, and to prepare bimetallic Ni and Cu catalysts loaded on mesocellular silica support (Ni-Cu/mesocellular silica). 2.2 To investigate the effect of loading amounts of Ni and Cu on physicochemical properties of Ni-Cu/mesocellular silica catalysts and their performances for the production of hydrogen and carbon allotrope from methane. 2.3 To investigate the effect of operating conditions (reaction temperature and N2:CH4 volume ratio) on the activity and stability of bimetallic catalysts during methane cracking reaction.
