1) To estimate occurrence and severity of white striping defect in groups of normal-sized and heavy-sized broilers 2) To determine differential gene expression between white-striping and non-defective chicken skeletal muscle using microarray technique 3) To identify biological pathways underlying development of white striping in chicken breast muscle.
